The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce joined Sisters Thrift Shop on Thursday, May 14, to celebrate the organization’s grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony at its downtown Hinesville location.

The event brought together family members, Chamber staff, board members, community leaders, and local supporters to recognize both the opening of the shop and the mission behind it. Executive Director Chandra Cox welcomed guests and thanked the organization’s staff, volunteers, and supporters for their dedication and encouragement in helping bring the vision to life.

“Small businesses and organizations like Sisters Thrift Shop play an important role in strengthening our community,” said Leah Poole, president and CEO of the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce. “We are proud to celebrate this milestone and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make in Hinesville and throughout Liberty County.”

Sisters Thrift Shop is located at 407 S. Main Street in Hinesville. Community members are encouraged to stop by or call (912) 698-4000 to learn more about the shop’s services, programs, and ways to support its mission.
