Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga singing their hearts out. Tom
Cruise performing his most death-defying stunts ever. A cornucopia of
superheroes. Melissa McCarthy and Kevin Hart failing to make the grade. And the
most unmagical Harry Potter movie ever. What do they all have in common?
They're gonna make either list for my picks of the year's 10 best or worst
movies.
Yes, another year has come and gone and now once
again, I have to sort out the best of the best and the bottom of the
barrel.
Of course, one person's critical darling is
another's gargantuan flop. One person's satisfying blockbuster is another
person's massive disappointment. One person's Oscar hopeful is another's
overrated pile of cinema. I could go on and on.
Over the past year, I saw 52 movies, but 20 of
them stayed with me in either a good or bad way and now I'm gonna give them
what they deserve. Plus, like I do every year, I also include my picks for
runner-up on both lists.
Without further ado, let the countdowns begin!
