Editor: On Tuesday, Sept. 18, I missed an appointment in downtown Hinesville because the bus servicing the area was 25 minutes behind schedule.
This was the second time in a two-week period that the bus was 20 to 25 minutes behind schedule.
What makes this totally unacceptable was that I later learned the bus was late because the driver had to gas the vehicle before he could start his route.
Now, really, don’t you think the vehicle could have filled up the evening before, and/or the operator would have reported to work 25 minutes earlier?
Surely, we should be able to expect better!
