16-run inning for Tigers

A 16-run inning won Bradwell Institute’s game against New Hampstead in Pooler Monday.

The score was 0-0 going into the fourth, when the Tigers sparked a rally, scoring 16 runs to end the game.
The explosion started with a hit batter, an error, a fielder’s choice and three walks, of Greg Oxendine, Hunter Hawkins and Evan Crystal. Another error and a two-run single kept the scores coming in.

Robert Rivera walked, two more runs were scored on passed balls, Brennan Long had a two-run single and O’Brian Nobles hit a two-run single.
Long finished the game 3 for 4 with 4 RBIs. Nobles had 3 RBIs.

Tiger Steven Harris struck out four and gave up two hits and one walk.
Bradwell is 4-8 overall and 0-6 in Region 3-AAAAA. The Tigers play at Long County Thursday at 5 p.m.
