The Long County Blue Tide football team will be the only team in the Hinesville-Ludowici area in action for what is hopefully the last time this season.

The Bradwell Institute Tigers and Liberty County Panthers are hoping to return to the field on Sept. 17.

For this upcoming week, the Blue Tide will be playing at home, hosting the Butler Bulldogs from Augusta on Sept. 10.

The Bulldogs are 0-2 this season with losses to Bryan County and Warren County.

The Blue Tide are 1-2 and are looking to avenge their loss to Butler a season ago where they fell 16-3.

Friday’s game will kickoff at 7:30 inside of Veterans’ Stadium in Ludowici.
