The Bradwell Institute girls track team picked up three first-place finishes at the Class 5A sectionals held at Union Grove High School.
Ta’Tyana Anderson won the high jump with a best of 5 feet, 6 inches, and the girls relay teams picked up two firsts. The 4x100 team won in a time of 48.45 seconds, and the 4x200 team won in 1:42.91.
Anderson also took third in the 200-meter dash at 25.34 seconds. Jacoria Leonard took fourth in the long jump at 16 feet.
The girls Class AAAAA state track finals will be held at Kinnett Stadium in Columbus beginning Friday.
Oc’Curion Mays qualified for the boys long jump finals with an eighth-place finish.
