Brunswick speedway has three nights of racing

Brunswick — A full weekend of racing is on tap at Golden Isles Speedway over the Labor Day holiday as the National Late Model Series  rumbles into the coastal Georgia track for  three nights of high-speed drama.
After last weekend’s rousing return to racing at the newly configured four-tenths mile clay oval, race teams and fans throughout the region are ready for the action to resume during the three nights (Friday-Sunday) of racing with NLMS circuit headlining the racing program in the {Lumber Unlimited 100.”
Race teams from all over the Southeast will be on hand  to battle for the purses as the weekend opens with an Open Practice for all competitors on Friday from 7-11 p.m.
A contingent South Georgia and North Florida drivers are all in the midst of a torrid championship points battle on the NLMS tour and when the heavy hitting field of cars head to the Brunswick speedway there may very well be more than 60 NLMS teams alone vying for starting spots in the main events on both Saturday and Sunday nights, plus full fields of racecars in all other divisions.
On Saturday night, the NLMS Late Models will compete in a 50-lap $3,000-to-win main event following time trial qualifications and heat races for the drivers of the NLMS tour.  Also on the schedule will be Hobby Stock, Super Street and Limited Sportsman divisions conducting their qualifying heats to set the fields for the final night of action.
Sunday night, the NLMS drivers will again battle for $3,000-to-win in a 50-lap main event following another round of their preliminary qualifiers, and feature races in the Super Street, Limited Sportsman and Hobby Stock divisions, plus bonus action with a $1,000-to-win Open Wheel Modified feature event.
Pit Gates will open at 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday with grandstand gates opening at 5.  Grandstand tickets are available at the gate with adult admission prices of $15 for Saturday and $20 for Sunday night. Grandstand admission is free for the Friday night practice.
Golden Isles Speedway now offers trackside tailgate spectator areas behind the backstretch where your can watch the races. Adult tickets for the tailgate area are $30 for Saturday night and $35 on Sunday night.
Kids, 12 and under, are admitted free in the grandstand and tailgate areas when accompanied by a paying adult.
The speedway also offers reserved camping sites for RVs and campers with hookups for electricity and water.
