Hrummmphh!

Not sure what South Carolina was doing running a slowdown offense in the fourth quarter against the Gators, but it worked, they got beat! Old Will isn’t long for this world as the Gamecocks head coach.

Going 5-2 again last week ain’t my cup of tea! Let’s get this rolling!

FLORIDA AT TEXAS A&M: The Aggies got throttled by Alabama last week and Jimbo Fischer is starting to feel some heat. The Gators might be one of the best teams in the country, but somehow I think this is going to be closer than people think.

Texas A&M had high hopes this year and they better not lose this one. Too, bad, it’s going to be pretty nasty.

SOUTH CAROLINA AT VANDY: If the Gamecocks want to win a game, they better get this one! Vandy has the worst talent in the SEC, but they do continue to fight for head coach Derrick Mason. South Carolina better play hard for Will Muschamp because if they lose this game, old Will won’t be making the trip back to Columbia.

Vandy’s bad, South Carolina is bad. Why would anyone watch this? Might be a good thing they don’t have many fans in the stadium.

ARKANSAS AT AUBURN: Auburn got exposed for what they really are when they went to Athens last week and Georgia bottled them up. Auburn has plenty of skill people, but not many people who can block for them.

It’s amazing a team that’s supposed to be elite finds itself year after year rebuilding. That’s old Gus’s fault and the Auburn folks are tired of hearing his promises.

Arkansas won its first SEC game in three years last week when they bumped Mississippi State off and they might have found a little extra juice heading into this one.

Auburn’s down, the Hogs are up.

MISSISSIPPI ST. AT KENTUCKY: The Bulldogs came back to earth last week against Arkansas and Kentucky lost to Ole Miss in overtime when they missed a PAT.

Kentucky was going to be one of the surprises of the SEC this year and I’m surprised that they are 0-2.

You never know if Mississippi State is going to throw the ball 50 times or 70 times. I’m guessing it’s going to be 70, but I also know the Wildcats need a win. Look for them to start a new quarterback and it’s going to work.

ALABAMA AT OLE MISS: Talk about a fun game! Old Nick fired temper tantrum Lane a few years ago and Lane keeps running his mouth trying to poke the best coach in football.

Most of the time Nick calls off the Tide when they build a big lead, but remember, Ole Miss ran their mouths a few years ago after they beat the Tide and the next year Bama beat them 66-3. I think Bama will do the same.

ALABAMA 70, OLE MISS 28

MISSOURI AT LSU: The Tigers are going to win this one!

GAME OF THE WEEK

TENNESSEE

AT GEORGIA:

Well we are going to find out if Tennessee is for real and if the Dawgs can stay up for another big game after slapping Auburn around.

Not sure how Georgia is going to keep winning with the QB talent they have shown with some kid who has a name like a lawyer, but their big line is still moving people off the ball.

Tennessee has looked like a complete team, but they have played South Carolina and Missouri and no one is scared of those guys. The Vols are good and getting better and have the longest win streak in the country, but I think it’s going to end, barely.
