The Georgia Athletic Coaches Association recently selected Long County softball pitcher Harley Dawson to its 2015 All-State Class AA team. Head softball coach Brian Thomas said Dawson made the squad as second-team selection. Dawson had a 9-10 record with a 1.13 ERA on the mound, striking out 236 batters.
