The First Presbyterian Christian Academy boys’ cross-country team won the Georgia Independent School Association Class 2-AA region title last week for the second straight year.

Four of the five runners also placed in the top 10 and all placed in the top 15.

FPCA’s only female runner, Charlotte Osmers, finished second overall for the girls with a time of 23:05.
Charlotte, Joseph and Jah’leel made the all-region team.

Highlander coach Shane Smith was named the region coach of the year for varsity boys.

Here is how the boys finished individually:
• Joseph Cannata, fourth place
• Jah’leel Allen, fifth
• Will Magan, seventh
• Gregory Cannata, eighth
• Keyi “Alex” Shen, 15th.
