The Long County Blue Tide was the only team in the Hinesville-Ludowici to compete on the football field on Friday.

Hosting Butler High School from Augusta, the Blue Tide put on a show, defeating the Bulldogs 46-0 at Veterans Stadium.

Raising their record to 2-2, the Blue Tide secured their first multiple win season since 2015 when they went 3-7 under Eric McNair.

The Blue Tide led 36-0 at the half before playing on a running clock beginning in the third quarter.

Their following game will take place on Friday when they visit Jeff Davis in Hazlehurst.
