Hurricanes set to impact Florida

While everyone is busy keeping their eyes on the tropics, a Hurricane is set to directly impact Quincy, Fla., on Saturday as the Hinesville Hurricanes semi-pro football team enter the second round of playoffs, facing the South Georgia Warriors.
The Hurricanes earned a bye for the first round and a shot at the title when a few teams within the league forfeited games against the tough 'Cane squad.
The team, who dedicated the season to the coach's late wife Mary Jo Sharp, plans to topple the Warriors with a new stronger and agile line.
"This time we got some big guys up front," Hurricane coach James Sharp said.
These two teams battled it out on July 19 with the Warriors edging out a 22-16 victory.
But with a Guardian Angel watching from above, a new line and experienced quarterbacks in Frank Troup ans Quincy Thomas the 'Canes are looking to upset the Warriors and get one step closer to the state championship.
