Lady Tigers drop last two games

The Lady Tigers were in Pooler Sept. 7, taking on the Lady Phoenix of New Hampstead. Bradwell fell 11-3. Monday, Bradwell lost a Region 2-AAAAAA contest at Glynn Academy, 9-3.

Last week, Lady Tiger Sara Hause scored a run in the first inning after nailing a double. She came home off a single RBI by senior Tamia Johnson.
Johnson ended the game 2 for 2 with 3RBIs, scoring Hause once more, and Kaylynn Jewell in the third inning.

Hause was 3 for 3 at bat.
The Lady Phoenix drove in three runs in the first and then matched the Lady Tigers’ two runs in the third to go up 5-3.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, the Lady Phoenix charged in four more and added two in the fifth for the win.

Lady Tiger Josephine Satele pitched 2 innings, striking out three and walking three. Danielle Hennessee pitched two innings, walking two.
Monday’s game was in Glynn Academy. Hause and Satele both were 2 for 3 to lead the Lady Tigers at bat.

The Red Terrors were up 2-0 when Bradwell drove in two runs in the top of the fourth. The tie didn’t last long. The Lady Terrors then rallied with four runs in the fourth and three in the fifth to seal the win. Bradwell added a run in the seventh.
Hennessee took the loss for Bradwell, giving up seven hits and seven runs. Satele walked five and struck out four during her 4 innings on the mound.

The Lady Tigers are 1-10 overall and 0-4 in Region 2-AAAAAA. Bradwell was set to host Glynn again Tuesday and will host Brunswick Monday at 6 p.m.
