The first place trophy in the midget softball league went to Cosmopolitan Club. The Liberty County Recreation Department's midget softball winners recently received trophies as the Cosmopolitan Club team hoisted the big one for first place with a 6-4 victory over Martin Insurance who claimed the second place trophy.
