Former Liberty County High School and University of Tennessee Volunteer basketball player Jordan McRae was traded to the Denver Nuggets Thursday from the Washington Wizards. 

McRae was drafted 58th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft by the San Antonio Spurs and traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. He played on the summer league and later signed with Melbourne United where he earned player of the week and player of the month recognitions. 

For the 2015-16 season McRae played with the Delaware 87ers and was named on the East All-Star Team for the D League All-Star game.

McRae spent the 2016-17 season with the Cleveland Cavaliers as they chased as won the NBA title.

In 2018 the Washington Wizards signed McRae to a two-way contract. Later that year they converted his two-way contract to a standard NBA contract.

In his professional career to date McRae has played in 86 games with 5 starts averaging 10.6 minutes per game.
