Blue Tide get win, FPCA falls to DEA

The Blue Tide football team got back on the winning track Friday with a solid thumping of Atkinson County.  The Ludowici team traveled to Pearson to take on the Rebels and came out strong en route to a 47- 6 victory over the home team.
With the win, the Blue Tide improved their overall record to 2-2 and notched their first Region 2-AA win of the year, putting them at 1-2 in the region.
Note: First Presbyterian Christian Academy fell 46-29 to David Emanuel in Stillmore. The Highlanders are 0-4.
Bradwell Institute was idle. The Tigers play Effingham County on Friday.
