First Presbyterian Christian Academy soon will start preparing for its third football season.
According to coach Jamie Sharp, the Highlanders will hit the ground running July 8. That may seem a bit later than other schools, but many potential FPCA players currently are on the Amateur Athletic Union circuit, playing for their respective basketball teams.
According to, the Highlanders have nine games on the 2014 schedule, with five home games at Long Bell Stadium. All games tentatively start at 7:30 p.m.
