The First Presbyterian Christian Academy boys’ basketball team notched another win by thumping Coastal Home School, 68-45, Tuesday at the St. James Sports Center.
With the victory, FPCA moved to 9-5 overall and 4-2 in Georgia Independent School Association’s Region 2-AA.
Tevin Womack paced the Highlanders with 14 points in the game.
The Lady ’Landers lost to Memorial Day, 48-31, Monday in Savannah. The score of Tuesday’s girls’ game had not been posted by press time.
The FPCA squads host region opponent Brentwood today with the girls’ game starting at 6 p.m.
On Tuesday, FPCA hosts Memorial Day on senior night. The action starts with the girls’ game at 6 p.m.
In other area basketball news, the Liberty County Panthers will hit the court tonight to host South Effingham in a Region 3A-AAAA contest.
The girls tip off first at 7, with the boys’ game to follow.
On Feb. 8, Liberty hosts Wayne County on senior night, with the action starting at 6:30 p.m.
