Competitors from all over the state took part in the Long County Recreation Department mud bog Sept. 29 in Ludowici.
Rec Department Director Michelle Rogers said 63 trucks competed in seven categories. With an estimated 500 people in the stands and under the tents, the bog began at 1 p.m. and lasted into the evening.
The bi-annual bog has become a crowd favorite for the area and grows with each competition.
“Once again we had a great turnout and the competition gets better every time. I appreciate everyone who came out and all of the drivers who competed,” Rogers said.
According to Rogers, proceeds go to the rec department.
