Henry ‘Hank’ White Memorial tourney set
The ninth annual Henry “Hank” White Memorial Golf Tournament will be Saturday at the Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville.
Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., and tee-off is at 9 a.m. The fee is $60 per person or $240 for a four-person team.

Tiger TD Club hosting membership meeting
The first membership meeting for the Tiger Touchdown Club will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Bradwell Institute cafeteria.

Diamond Club golf tournament planned
Long County Diamond Club will host its first golf tournament Aug. 17 at Cherokee Rose Country Club.
Sign-in begins at 12:30 p.m., with a 1:30 shotgun start.
Proceeds will benefit the Long County Blue Tide Baseball team. The fee is $60 per person.
The tournament format is four-person, captain’s-choice scramble.
Hole sponsorships are available for $100.
Prizes will be awarded for top three places, closest to pin, longest drive and hole-in-one on a selected hole.
