Summing up Tiger, Panther defenses

Friday’s big game between Liberty and Bradwell is done. The Panthers earned a 35-17 win and the Commissioner’s Cup.
Sunday’s Courier reported the offensive stats made immediately available after the game. Here is a break down on the defenses.
Bradwell Institute’s defense combined for 57 tackles. Leading the pack was Isiah Barnes with two solos, two tackles for loss and nine assists. Stephon Green had three solo tackles, one for loss and six assists. Hubert Anderson had three solo tackles and three assists, Lynwood Spaulding had two solo, four assists.
Barnes, Green, Shaun Maschino and Justin Ramsey all hurried the Panthers’ quarterback. Anderson and Brinson had an interception each.
Freshman Richard LeCounte led the Panthers in tackles. He had 11 solo tackles and three assists. Senior Raekwon McMillan had nine solo tackles, two for loss and two assists. Jeremy Caldwell-Fabregas had seven solo, three for loss and three assists. In all, the Panther defense had 70 tackles.
Junior Panther Anthony Stewart and senior Jonathan Britton each got a sack. DaShaun Hudson got a pick and LeCounte got an interception with a 33-yard return.
