Bradwell Institute’s baseball team fell Friday night in games one and two in a best-of-three series against Harris County High School in Hamilton. The losses mean the Tiger’s post-season play and baseball season officially have concluded.
The boys lost 14-0 in five innings in the first game.
The Tigers did what they could to make a complete game in their second attempt to advance in the playoffs.
Harris County High School, however, had plans to advance as well, and they shut out the Tigers, 12-0, in a seven-inning game.
The Tigers end their season at 9-15 overall and 7-7 in Region 3-AAAAA.
Bradwell’s coach, Jeff Polk, took over the team earlier this years after his father, Rhett Hellgren, stepped away from baseball to concentrate on his duties as the Tigers’ basketball coach.
