BRUNSWICK - The Bradwell Institute boys basketball team picked up three wins in three games during its time at the Hoopin’ at the High holiday tournament.
The Tigers, now 12-0, closed out the tourney with a 66-56 win Saturday over host Brunswick. Tahshaun Frasier led the way with 19 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Chris Perry added 16 points and five blocked shots, and Dar’Kari Pasley chipped in 14 points. Jamal Jackson totaled seven steals to go with his two points.
The Tigers held off the Stephenson Jaguars 49-43 behind 15 points from Pasley, who also had eight rebounds, and 14 from Perry. Jackson registered five steals, along with four points, and Jaylin Sweat had seven points and six rebounds.
Bradwell opened the tournament with a fourth-quarter rally over North Forsyth, beating the Raiders 51-46 thanks to a 15-2 run late in the final period.
Elyjah Thurmon had 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the way in what was likely his final game before he enrolls at Clemson. Perry added 10 points, while Fraiser scored nine and Jackson scored eight. Frasier and Jackson also had four steals each.
The Tigers will face Griffin on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and Woodville-Tompkins on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Big Blue Classic.
