Panther JV squad stands at 3-0

Liberty County High School’s junior varsity football team is 3-0 so far this season.
The boys took the field Sept. 9 at Effingham County where they beat the Rebels 21-12. The following week, the junior Panthers defeated Bradwell, 25-6, at Donell Woods Stadium.
Thursday, the JV team beat Richmond Hill 21-7 on the Wildcats’ home turf.
According to coach Ryan Glazer, quarterback Aaron Kuhl has thrown four touchdown passes. All of them were to receiver Eddie Baker.
JV Panther running back Johnathan Brisson has two touchdown runs and Jeremiah Melton has one rushing touchdown.
Baker has also rushed for two touchdowns and linebacker Michael Roberts has one fumble recovery that was good for a touchdown.
Alec Sutton has kicked the extra points.
The JV defense is led by linemen Brisson, Matthew Goldstein, Jason Hill, Dezmon Lindsey, Sisquo Westbrook, Colton Oglesby, linebackers Etienne Chatman, Michael Roberts, Josh Swinson, Walt Stanton, Kiron Rhodes and backs Tristan Lewis, Dennis Davis, Sam Roberts and Karrington Warner.
