Despite the Bradwell Institute football team’s 0-10 record, several Tigers made the 3-AAAAA All-Region Team.
Tiger offensive lineman Rashawn Berry made an impression on the region’s coaches and was named to the All-Region second-team offense.
Senior linebacker Isiah Barnes made the second-team defense list with 82 tackles — including 48 solo — seven sacks and a fumble. Barnes also had 97 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries and returned four kickoffs 44 yards.
Darrell Hawkins, Stephon Green, Shaun Maschino, CJ Este all made the honorable-mention list.
Defensive lineman Hawkins recovered two fumbles and had 18 tackles in seven games. Green also played on the defensive line and made 22 tackles. Maschino, a linebacker, made 25 tackles this season. Like Barnes, he saw limited time on offense and rushed for 46 yards on 17 carries. Este, also a linebacker, had 17 total tackles and caused a fumble this year.
