EUGENE, OR -- University of Oregon point guard and Hinesville native Will Richardson has been named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team for his play during the 2021-22 regular season.

Richardson averaged 14.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.3 steals in 30 games this season and scored in double-digits in 22 games with seven 20-point games.

In January, Richardson was named conference player of the week twice and led the team to wins over two top-five opponents, defeating then No. 3 UCLA and No. 5 USC on the road in consecutive games. He scored a career-high 28 points in the win over Southern Cal.

One of 37 players in program history to record over 1,000 points at Oregon, Richardson ranks ninth all-time in both assists and steals for the Ducks.

The 6-foot-5 senior will not travel with the team to Las Vegas for the Pac-12 Tournament due to a non-COVID-19-related illness.

Richardson, who spent his first three high school years seasons at Liberty County High School before transferring to Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia., for his senior year, is the son of Michelle Thompson and Richard Richardson.
