Tigers fall to Wildcats in game two

Bradwell Institute is struggling in region 3-5A baseball games falling to 0-8 after being defeated by Richmond Hill 8-2 on Tiger field Wednesday. It was the second loss in a row to the Wildcats who will host the final of three games Friday in Richmond Hill.

The Wildcats jumped early earning a 4-0 lead in the first inning. The Richmond Hill boys saw the Tigers fight back in the sixth inning closing the point spread.

Tiger Ryan Desbians hit a double with 1 RBI. During the inning Chris Bell and Stephen Felton crossed home closing the margin. But the Wildcats took the top of the final inning and used it to drive in four more runs to win 8-2.

Desbiens finished 3 for 3 for the night.

Felton pitched the first three innings walking eight, striking out four and gave up four runs. Desbiens came in as relief for three and two-third innings earning three strikeouts and walking two. He gave up three runs in the seventh inning. Chris Bell pitched one third of the final inning walking two and getting one strikeout.

The Tigers are 5-10 overall. Friday’s game at Richmond Hill starts at 6 p.m.
