Liberty County High School cheerleaders and youth, who attended a Mini-Cheer Camp, pose for a photo before the Sept. 25 Panther football game against Wayne County in Donell Woods Stadium.

The Liberty County High School Panther Cheerleaders hosted a Mini-Cheer Camp on Aug. 8, drawing more than 40 participants from ages 4 to 13.

During the Sept. 25 home game against Wayne County, the mini-cheerleaders cheered, chanted, danced and did stunts as part of the Liberty County Recreation Department Night during the first two quarters and half time.

LCHS Cheerleading coach Kimberly Brown thanked all the participants. She added they look forward to another Mini-Cheer Camp in January.
“It was an exciting time for all the cheerleaders and parents,” Brown said. “They did a fantastic job and we look forward to our January camp.”
