Thomas Robert Hickey was born April 2 to Tom and Shannon Hickey of Hinesville. 
Born at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, baby Tommy weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces.
He is the grandson of Bob and Dora Sprinkel of Hinesville and Bill and Denise Hickey of Panama City, Fla., and the late Linda Hickey of Hinesville.
The baby also is welcomed by sister Emily.
