The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Bradwell Institute, and a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's of science in communication studies. She is an admissions counselor at Georgia Southern.
The groom-to-be's maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. John Farrell of Marietta. His paternal grandparents are Clarice Rikard and the late Gene Rikard of Marietta.
The groom-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Shiloh Hills Christian School, a 2003 graduate of Young Harris College and a 2006 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor's of science in sports management. He is an athletic supervisor with Bulloch County Parks and Recreation.
