Jackie R. and Sheila N. Flowers of Glennville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Melissa Jean Flowers to John Keith Myers, son of Terry and Emma McCleary of Morgan City, La.
The bride-elect is the paternal granddaughter of the late Rudolph C. and Bertie D. Flowers of Glennville, and maternal granddaughter of Barbara D. NeSmith and the late Madison NeSmith Jr. of Statesboro.
She is a graduate of Reidsville High School and Southeastern Technical College, and is currently employed as a medical assistant at Phillip’s Pediatrics in Hinesville.
The groom-elect is the paternal grandson of Jean McCleary and the late George McCleary of Savannah, Mo. and the maternal grandson of the late Floyd and Mary Robicheaux of Morgan City, La.
He is a graduate of Assumption High School in Napoleonville, La., and Southeastern Technical College, and is currently employed as an LPN at Appling Hospital and Tattnall Community Hospital.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 6 o’clock in the evening at Celebration Castle in Hinesville.
A reception will follow the ceremony.
The Rev. Wilford Harden will officiate over the ceremony.
