ALBANY, N.Y. — Sonja R. Burks and Yvonne McGirt Akins recently graduated from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y.
Burks, a resident of Fort Stewart, earned a bachelor’s of science.
Akins, a resident of Hinesville, earned an associate’s in applied science in nursing.
Gordon makes EGC dean’s list
Marcella S. Gordon of Riceboro has been named to the dean’s list at East Georgia College for the spring 2010 semester. To be eligible for the list, students must maintain at least a 3.76 grade point average.
