Editor, The community of Riceboro expresses its thanks to SNF Chemtall employees, who brought donations of canned goods to their Christmas party on Dec. 12.
On Dec. 21, the canned goods, along with free clothing, were given away at Briar Bay Park. It was an exciting day as people were being blessed. They were coming even after everything was gone, but with additional donations from Mr. and Mrs. Gillespie of Missouri City, Texas, and from Ms. Phyliss Tucker and Mrs. Lelia M. Williams, more bags were issued to families the next day.
We say thank you to our volunteer helpers, Phyliss Tucker, Rovonda Fleming, The Gillespies, Patricia Fleming, Jamal Sanders and Mrs. Eva Scott.
Thank you, Chemtall employees. You brought smiles to several faces.
