Editor, Greetings from the Henry “Hank” White Memorial Scholarship Fund Committee.
The committee of the Henry “Hank” White Memorial Scholarship Fund would like to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to all participants in the Henry “Hank” White Memorial Golf Tournament.  This includes all of our major sponsors, hole sponsors, golfers, friends, family and businesses that donated monetary gifts and door prizes.  A special thanks to Hinesville Ford and Franklin Toyota for automobile sponsorship for the hole in one prize. We also thank the Cherokee Rose Country Club for the use of the golf course for our tournament. We thank the First Calvary Missionary Baptist Church for hosting and providing dinner after the tournament. We would also like to thank the Coastal Courier and sports writer Patty Leon for media coverage of the tournament.
We especially thank all our participants for taking time out of their busy schedule to come out and support us by participating in the tournament.  Their presence, generosity and sincere words of support helped make the tournament a great success.
As a result of your gifts and contributions this year, the committee of the Henry “Hank” White Memorial Scholarship Fund proudly announce that seven $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.  These scholarships will be used to aid qualified. College-bound seniors and others in the community as they pursue their secondary education.  Details concerning the scholarships will be announced later.
As we look to the future, we anticipate your continued support in helping to make the annual Henry “Hank” White Memorial Golf Tournament a successful annual event.  Thank you again and may God bless you.
