The Pines at Willowbrook residents recently attended the community’s third annual fun day. Participants enjoyed water balloon games, face painting, a cake walk, bouncy houses, Bingo, horse and pony rides, and a yard sale. Residents munched on snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn, watermelon, barbecued chicken, hot dogs and burgers. The Hinesville Police Department did free fingerprinting and the Hinesville Fire Department allowed residents to tour a fire truck.
Property manager Cynthia Bryant said neighborhood watch residents worked for months to make the day a success. Churches donated tables and chairs; fast-food restaurants donated gift certificates and coupons; and Mt. Zion MBC teen council members volunteered.
The horses were provided by Mr. Bacon and his crew. Kindas Amusement and Walmart also helped to make the event possible. Bryan said she was thankful to all the helpers and to her family.
