Desean Marcell Rutland was born at 5:22 p.m. Sept. 30 to Danya Rutland and Dominique Rutland Sr. of Hinesville.

Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Desean weighed 7 pounds, 4.5 ounces and measured 18.5 inches.

The baby’s maternal grandparents are Tyron and Loresa Crawford of Hinesville. The baby’s paternal grandparents are Chris and Elizabeth Rutland of Youngstown, Ohio.

The baby also is welcomed by sister Danasia Rutland and brother Dominique Rutland Jr.
