Malik Joseph Evans-Phillips was born at 6:32 p.m. Sept. 4 to Tonniesha Evans and Joseph Phillips Jr. of Hinesville.

Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Malik weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 19 inches.

His maternal grandparents are Manusina and Robert Evans of Hinesville. His paternal grandparents are Shari and Joseph Phillips of Charles County, Maryland. He is also welcomed by a sister, Amara Evans-Phillips, and brother, Christopher Evans.
