Tabernacle of Faith Church hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 21 in conjunction with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce. The Rev. Kathleen Ayalas and members of her congregation welcomed city officials, chamber staff, board members, ambassadors, members and people from the community.
“Our organization is grateful to be a part of the Hinesville community,” said Ayala, pastor of Christ Tabernacle of Faith Church. “Our mission is to serve the community. We are here for you, so please call on us.”
Mayor Pro Tem Charles Frasier offered thanks during the ceremony.
“The city welcomes you and thanks you for all you do,” he said. “We appreciate your service to the community.”
Following the ceremony, attendees were treated to tours of the facility, followed by a lunch buffet.
“We welcome you to the chamber,” said Kevin Thomas, chairman of the chamber board of directors. “We are here for you and support your growing business.”
Organized in June 2010, the church began its services out of a home in Hinesville and quickly outgrew its worship locations. Christ Tabernacle of Faith Church’s mission is to reach out to the surrounding community in a loving and spiritual relationship. The church takes pride in making the Gospel understandable through clear preaching and teaching.
Christ Tabernacle of Faith Church is at 908 S. Main St. in Hinesville.
