God has a plan for you, everyone
pastor corner

A few weeks ago, I came into my office to find out that one of my daughters had put a fish tank with three fish in it there.

The sound of the water and the movement of the fish are supposedly soothing to the mind. I think the reason she put it there, however, was that she wanted it out of her house.

I do find myself watching them occasionally and, the other day, I asked myself this question, "What are they thinking about, what purpose do they have in their lifetime?

They seem to be merely existing. I am convinced that in many cases that’s all they do, is exist.

The truth of the matter is that many human beings are in the same place; they are merely existing. They don’t contribute to the world they are born in; they are not fulfilling their God-given purpose.

I believe the Scripture teaches us that everyone has a God-given purpose.

In Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord says, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

The problem is that God cannot fulfill that purpose unless each of us surrenders our lives to him and lets him live that purpose through us.

Each one of us can be a world changer. Each one of us can make a difference if we only will allow God’s plan to be fulfilled through us.
