Bible studies are normally held in a church setting, but one minister is taking it beyond the church walls.
On Feb. 9, Minister Kathy Paige will begin a series of bible studies in the conference room at Century 21 Action Realtors, where she works in real estate.
Paige and her husband, the Rev. Kendall Paige head KJRP Ministries. They established the ministry in 2005, and relocated to the Liberty County area three years ago.
Kendall Paige is a native of West Virginia, but grew up in Maryland, and has been in the ministry for 20 years.
“After being ordained and licensed through the Baptist Church in 2004, many opportunities have been presented for me to proclaim the good news of the Gospel,” he said. “My wife and I daily declare the message to a dying world that you have a choice to either accept Jesus or reject Him, and that your personal decision is at hand. That is the mission of the KJRP Ministries, Inc.”
In the Georgia region, the reverend has had an opportunity to write, produce and facilitate many Bible studies. Additionally, he has co-facilitated many marriage workshops, personal counseling and enrichment sessions, and now serves as co-host of a live streamed broadcast every Friday evening with Breaking Bread Ministries at 7.
Paige also has a golfing ministry and works at Rofler Hair. He is a professional golfer who has been golfing for 11 years, and has won many tournaments. He is preparing to get on the Senior Tour, and is working to get a sponsor. Last year, his team won the annual MLK Jr. Observance Day Committee Golf Tournament at Hampton Island.
“I want to go fulltime in the golfing ministry,” he said.
His wife, the minister, is a native of Florida, and moved to the Washington, D.C. area after she graduated from high school. After being licensed to preach in 2005, she and her husband took courses through the Washington Bible College of Lanham, Md., the Moody Bible College of Chicago and have completed counseling courses through the American Christian Counselors’ Association, for certification, and many other learning institutes to better equip themselves for the work of ministry.
“The 10-12 week Bible study will focus on six tests every woman must pass. The classes will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. I am believing God for the churched, as well as the unchurched. Topics such as:  The Challenge, The Commitment, The Call and others will be taught. I will be partnering with Jennifer Keitt (Atlanta radio personality) to teach the classes,” the minister said.
Keitt reaches more than 1 million women weekly with one simple truth: “There is hope…you can be victorious over life every day.”
Women are empowered and inspired by her ability to encourage them to live confident, powerful lives, Paige said.
“Keitt will greet us at the first class via computer. I will be taking women through the major tests of ministry and being a wife and a mother. God wants us to have character and integrity in the church, as well as in the marketplace,” Kathy Paige said.
Both Paiges said they wanted to be able to empower people for greatness.
“Last year, in October, we held Walking N2 Wholeness Conference in Richmond Hill, and it was such a blessing and awesome movement of God. We are still getting reports from attendees about the conference. We want to again thank our many sponsors who helped to make the conference a success. This year we will hold a conference in Manassas, Va., and will be partnering with local pastors,” Minister Paige said.
The Paige’s are members of Live Oak Church of God in Hinesville under the leadership of Pastor Aaron Cowart. They have four children and seven grandchildren.
Kathy Paige invites you to meet her on Feb. 9 at 6:30  at the Century 21 conference room, 123 Gen. Screven Way, Hinesville.
“This will be a journey that will truly challenge your life. I am looking forward to sharing with you,” she said.
