Liberty County is in for a treat. Internationally acclaimed Bible teacher, prophet, psalmist, media personality and author, Dr. Juanita Bynum, is coming to town.
At 7 p.m. Dec. 3-4, the spiritual leader will participate in a “prophetic word revival” at the Liberty Tabernacle of Prayer for All People in Hinesville.
“It is a soul-saving deliverance and encouragement conference,” said Liberty Tabernacle Pastor Nancy Kornegay. “People are going through things, and we want to let them know that God has not forgotten them. It is a time of refreshing.
“People will be encouraged to go through this recession. The conference will strengthen people, and they will be able to hold their heads up. We just want to remind people that God is faithful,” the pastor said.
Bynum is the bestselling author of “My Spiritual Inheritance,” “Matters of the Heart” (which sold 500,000 copies in less than a year), “No More Sheets” and several other books. She is also the New York Times bestselling author of “The Threshing Floor.”
In addition to being a guest and host on Trinity Broadcasting Network, Bynum has been featured in magazines such as “Essence” and “Ebony,” and has appeared on the cover of many Christian magazines.
The author said she is not afraid to deal with tough, controversial issues. Her messages have drawn thousands of people to her ministry and events. She said she has a desire to fulfill God’s mandate during turbulent times.
Her “Weapons of Power” conferences, which drew more than 30,000 people, were broadcast live on the Christian networks, TBN, Daystar and The Word. She addressed crowds of 50,000-100,000 as a keynote speaker at international conferences and events. Bynum has preached in many of the largest pulpits in America. She once made an appearance with Bishop T.D. Jakes.
Although her accomplishments are immeasurable, Bynum hasn’t strayed from her mission. She said, “It’s not about platforms. It’s about people.”
Liberty Tabernacle Pastors Charles and Nancy Kornegay are inviting the community to welcome Bynum to Liberty County. The church is at 1272 Kelly Drive in Hinesville.
“We want people to come and be blessed. Currently, people are coming from New York, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. A lot of people have been calling about the conference,” Nancy Kornegay said.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is free, but for preferred seating, guests should register at www.tabernacleofprayerforallpeople.com. Call 408-7777.
