Hooker is the ward of Opal and Richard Hayes of Hinesville.
He is a 2014 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

Minor graduates basic training
Army Pvt. Kavon Minor has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
Minor is the son of Evetta Jackson of Decatur, Alabama, and Tanzania Minor of Hinesville.
He is a 2014 graduate of Austin High School in Decatur.

Barham graduates basic training
Army Spc. Candace S. Barham has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
Barham is the daughter of Courtney Barham and sister of Cornelius Barham of Midway, and granddaughter of Willie Halsell of Midway.
She is a 2009 graduate of Liberty County High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in 2014 from Georgia Southern University.

Pearson graduates  basic training
Air Force Airman Patrick A. Pearson recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas. Pearson is the son of Regina Pearson of Atlanta and Daryll Pearson of Tifton. He is a 2012 graduate of Bradwell Institute.

Jackson graduates basic training
Air Force Airman J’nel Jackson recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
Jackson is the daughter of Jacqueline Jackson of Statesboro and Willie Jackson of Midway. She is a 2013 graduate of Portal Middle High School in Portal.
