A free, four-part genealogy workshop for beginners will start at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Statesboro Regional Public Library, 124 S. Main St.

The workshop will start with instruction on conducting interviews and filling out a family spreadsheet. Worksheets will be given for participants to interview family members, fill in blank areas and find resources.

Additional workshop dates are Feb. 8, March 14 an April 11.
