The Hi-Fidelity Civic Club recently made donations to several community organizations and Liberty County families who lost their homes to fire. Recipients included: Scott’s All-Stars basketball team, accepted by coach Marcus Scott; The Cub Pack 581, presented by Hi-Fidelity Club member Yvonne Woods to Cub Masters Herman Baker and Steven Mullice; and The Fostering Care and Hope Inc., presented by club members Verna Jean Luckey, Yvonne Woods, Marcus Scott, Rosa Walthour, Beverly Gross and Betty Frazier to Director Suerena Duvall.
House fire victims who received donations were Rena Anderson, Lori Riley, Mary Alvin and Carolyn Howard, on behalf of her daughter.
The Hi-Fidelity Civic Club is a nonprofit organization that helps Liberty County residents through donations to families, education groups and other community organizations.
