Hinesville saxophonist and songwriter Bernard Rose recently was nominated by the Indie Music Channel in Los Angeles for awards in three categories.
He was nominated for best jazz artist, best jazz instrumental for “The Pier at Breezes” and album of the year for “Shorebreeze.”
Incidentally, “The Pier at Breezes” was featured on DirecTV’s Sonic Tap 851 Smooth Jazz for the better part of a year.
Rose, also known as the “Satin Sax,” is excited about the prospect of winning one or more awards. He said he is grateful for the opportunity to play, and he tries to bless his audiences with music whenever he can.
Rose completed his freshman CD, “Shorebreeze,” in 2011 and just completed his sophomore CD, “Faith, Inspiration, & Praise Vol. 1” in November to rave reviews.
