Caring Closet provides needed supplies to caregivers

The Alzheimer's Association has opened a Hinesville area Caring Closet. If you have a loved one with dementia, who is not currently living in a nursing home or with hospice care, the Closet can help with incontinence products. It is open on Wednesdays from noon-4 p.m. and stocks adult briefs, slip-ons, wipes, creams, gloves and bed pads. A physician's statement form must be completed prior to picking up products. Call 1-800-272-3900 to have the form mailed or faxed, or you can pick up a form at the closet when it is open. The Closet is in Liberty Regional Medical Center's warehouse, 462 E.G. Miles Parkway, Hinesville. Call the toll-free number to find out about product donation and volunteer opportunities.
