BRUNSWICK — The Southeast Georgia Health System’s Wellness on Wheels mobile health vehicle will provide screenings during April. Wellness on Wheels provides low-cost and free health screenings, first aid and preventative education to the community at health departments, industries and businesses, health fairs, churches and community events. Services available on the WOW include bone density, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, lab draws, flu shots, health education and more. Additional screenings provided are digital mammograms. All mammograms require a physician’s order. Insurance is accepted and financial assistance is available to patients who qualify.
The vehicle will provide mammograms at the Long County Health Department, 57 N. Macon St., Ludowici, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, June 12. Call 912-545-2107 ext 233 for information.
