Code enforcement representatives from the city of Hinesville will “collect cars” for the National Kidney Foundation of Georgia from 4-8 p.m. Saturday at the National Night Out event on the courthouse square.
The event is a good way to receive a tax deduction and get rid of inoperable vehicles.
Eighty percent of the proceeds will go to the kidney foundation.
Those interested are asked to bring their car title, most current paid tag receipt and check their odometer reading prior to Saturday.
Officials will have the paperwork necessary to process the donation. The Kidney Foundation will pick up the car up at a later date.
