Students in Dr. Jana Shields’ health, safety and nutrition class at Liberty County High School recently were certified in first aid and CPR. Fourteen students participated in a daylong training session with firefighter Casey Hale.
At the end of the session, each participant took and passed a skills test. This is the second set of students to be certified this school year. The certification is one of the GPS standards for the early childhood education pathway.
