The Coastal Regional Commission’s Area Agency on Aging service and GeorgiaCares offers free and impartial Medicare counseling to Medicare beneficiaries with limited income and resources.
These beneficiaries may qualify for additional help with Medicare expenses for prescription drugs and other costs. Programs may cover prescription drug plan premiums, Medicare premiums, deductibles and co-insurance, and reduce co-pays for medicines. GeorgiaCares is a statewide program and the Area Agency on Aging serves the coastal region of Georgia, including Bryan County.
